João is a Brazilian (with Italian citizenship) lawyer, licensed and admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ). He holds a Master of Laws degree in International Sports Law from ISDE - Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía in Madrid, Spain and an LLB from IBMEC/RJ. He is fluent in English and Portuguese. Also, knowledge in Italian and Spanish.
Soon after graduating in law, he specialised in English for law and legal studies during an exchange program in Auckland/New Zealand, where he also worked as a volunteer during the pandemic in 2020.
He has legal experience in large law firms in Brazil and Italy, working in the areas of sports, entertainment, arbitration, corporate and civil law. He also worked at S.P.A.L. – Italian professional football club - in the legal - focused on international and national matters, and commercial area – focused on broadcasting and sponsorship agreements.
