Ana Gabriela Zanotelli

Ana Gabriela is a fully qualified Brazilian lawyer. She holds a bachelor's degree in Law and a master’s degree in Social Science, both from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). Currently, she is a PhD Candidate in Law at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Her research interests involve Human Rights, civil society, political mobilization of Law in Brazil and Latin America and legal institutions.
Her previous work experience includes legal work for law firms and public entities in Vitória – ES, an internship on Human Rights in the International Transport Workers’ Federation in London - UK, research and academic positions at the FGV Rio Law School (at the Law and Society Centre), Temporary Lecturer positions in Sociology at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) and in qualitative research on Sociolegal Studies at the FGV Rio Law School.
Over the last years, she has been performing academic work, such as publishing and reviewing academic papers for journals on Law, producing technical reports for research organizations, and presenting/debating academic works in national and international conferences on Law, Sociology and Political Sciences.
