Marina Martes is a fully qualified Brazilian lawyer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, PUC/SP (Jul 2016), a master’s degree in International Trade Law at the University of São Paulo, USP (2021), and an LL.M in International Legal Studies, with an International Human Rights Certificate, at Georgetown University Law Center (2022).
Marina has worked for four years at the international trade and WTO practice of a top tier law firm in Brazil, and, previously, for three years as an intern and then in-house lawyer at a Mining Company. She is also the co-founder and COO of NGO Rede Comadres, an organization that offers a program of social-emotional education and professional development to women in unassisted regions in Brazil, with the purpose of developing female support networks.
